Gunther Werks Aluminum Uprights are produced using state-of-the-art aerospace Aluminum. This provides unsurpassed rigidity, strength and finish to our aerodynamic components.

The uprights are made from T6061 Forged aluminum and are contoured to match the factory upright design. The uprights are 64mm taller than the factory uprights allowing for better airflow over the wing blade.

Vorsteiner components are manufactured using resin pre-impregnated, vacuum-formed carbon fiber—technology reserved for high-performance aerospace and motorsports applications. Compared to traditional wet-lay carbon fiber, this process produces parts that are 20–30% stiffer and stronger while eliminating unnecessary weight.

By vacuum-drawing excess resin during curing, we remove what doesn’t contribute to strength—resulting in lighter components without sacrificing rigidity or durability.
